Karel Sabbe is an ultrarunner by passion and dentist by profession. Karel is the current simultaneous fastest known record holder of the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail (supported). He is also known for his methodical approach to covering long distances, using his talent, preparation, and crew to maximum effect.
"Mountain running makes me feel as free and happy as I'll ever be" he says. In this keynote Karel will explain how ultrarunning is each time a learnful experience, to chase the limits of your mind and body and how it improves wellbeing at work.
